The Team

Bobbi Jones LPC, MA, NCC Clinical Director - Licensed Professional Counselor Certified Executive Coach (GA/FL)

Life can become overwhelming when you're constantly balancing responsibilities, caring for others, and trying to hold everything together. Bobbi Jones understands that meaningful change begins with having a space where you can feel heard, supported, and free to work through life's challenges without judgment.

As the Founder and Clinical Director of Tailored Wellness Institute, Bobbi is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy to adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, major life transitions, trauma-related experiences, self-esteem concerns, and other challenges affecting emotional well-being.

Bobbi earned her Master of Arts from Wake Forest University Graduate School and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgia State University. She is also a Certified Executive Coach and has professional experience in business development, branding, marketing, leadership, and entrepreneurship. She is continuing her academic and professional development through doctoral study in Counselor Education and Supervision at Antioch University.

Bobbi's therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and highly individualized. Rather than approaching therapy as a one-size-fits-all process, she works with clients to understand their experiences, identify patterns that may be interfering with their well-being, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and create sustainable changes that support the lives they want to build.

Her work is informed not only by clinical training, but also by years of professional leadership, entrepreneurship, and lived experience navigating significant personal and professional transitions. This combination allows Bobbi to bring both clinical insight and a practical, real-world perspective to the therapeutic relationship.

At Tailored Wellness, Bobbi's work extends beyond her individual clinical practice. She provides leadership and clinical oversight as the organization expands its team, develops community partnerships, supports emerging clinicians, and creates innovative mental health and wellness programming.

Whether a client is navigating a difficult season, adjusting to significant change, feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life, or simply ready to approach life differently, Bobbi's goal is to provide a supportive environment where insight can become action and meaningful, lasting change can take place.

Zakkiyyah "Kia" Mitchell, MFT Marriage and Family Therapist (GA/FL)

Feeling disconnected from yourself or the people you love can make everyday life feel overwhelming. Kia Mitchell offers a compassionate, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, feel understood, and work toward stronger relationships with themselves and others.

Kia earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. She works with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on relationship challenges, anxiety, self-esteem, communication, and life transitions. She has a particular interest in supporting LGBTQ+ clients and individuals and partners navigating polyamory and consensual non-monogamy.

Her approach is collaborative and grounded in the understanding that people are shaped by their relationships, experiences, and environments. Drawing primarily from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Kia helps clients explore the emotions and needs beneath recurring patterns of conflict or disconnection. She also incorporates tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to support emotional regulation, practical coping skills, and progress toward clients’ goals.

Kia believes clients deserve a space where they do not have to defend who they are or how they define their relationships. She values curiosity, cultural awareness, and respect for each person’s identity, beliefs, and lived experiences. Her work supports clients in recognizing patterns, communicating their needs, establishing boundaries, and creating more fulfilling connections.

Whether clients are working through relationship concerns, building confidence, or navigating a new chapter, Kia’s goal is to help them feel supported as they make changes that reflect their values and the lives they want to create.
